The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality can prepare you to manage physical assets, financial operations, recruiting staff, leading and managing people, monitoring staff performance, and developing and managing marketing strategies.

Course Duration & Delivery

24 months

The course structure is largely self paced with monthly contact with our trainer/ assessor and attendance at some short courses in our Carlton Training Centre.

Description

To be successful in the largest and fastest-growing industry in the world, you need to be skilled in both hospitality and business. This course will teach you the skills required to succeed in the hospitality industry and combine these practical skills with contextualised business and management knowledge.

Given the far-reaching relevance of customer-focused business skills, this program offers you a scope for career progression that goes well beyond the hospitality industry.

This training program may be completed through classroom, workplace based training or a combination of both.

Assessment

Face to face: combination of written, verbal, case studies and third party assessments.

Entry Requirements

If you are a resident of Victoria and an Australian citizen or Permanent resident AND have have not completed a course at this level or above you may be eligible for a subsidised place under the Victorian Training Guarantee. For eligible individuals, this training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government Funding.
